By placing an order with us, you agree to the conditions below, which are designed to keep things clear, fair and straightforward for everyone. Delivery Terms
We aim to get your orders to you quickly and safely. This page outlines how we process, dispatch, and deliver your purchases, including expected timeframes and your responsibilities regarding delivery.
1. Shipping Information
Online orders placed with Lamin8 are delivered by DHL as our approved service provider. We currently only deliver within South Africa.
DHL delivers directly to your door, so please provide a physical address that is occupied during business hours, Monday to Friday. Deliveries typically require a signature from the receiver. P.O. Box deliveries are not accepted.
Normal business hours for deliveries are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, from 08:00 to 17:00. Weekends and public holidays are excluded as standard for courier services.

2. Order Processing
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment reflected in our accounts. We endeavour to dispatch orders as soon as possible. Orders placed after 13:00 will generally be processed the following business day.
Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed as soon as possible, however dispatch can only occur on the next business day.
3. How Much and How Long Does Delivery Take?
Delivery times and costs vary depending on the destination.
- South Africa: Standard delivery usually takes 2–5 business days after dispatch. Sale or promotional items may take up to 7 working days. Delivery costs typically range from R50 to R150 in major metros (Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town). Outlying or remote areas may incur higher charges.
- Sub-Saharan Africa: Delivery usually takes 3–10 business days. Costs depend on parcel size, weight, and destination.
- Egypt & Morocco: Delivery usually takes 5–12 business days. Costs depend on parcel size, weight, and destination.
Delivery times begin on the business day after dispatch and exclude weekends and public holidays. International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
All shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, parcel size, and weight.
4. Where Can I Find Information About My Order?
You can track the status of your order using one of the following options:

5. Delivery Address
Please ensure that the correct delivery address is provided when placing your order. Title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises. DHL will not leave parcels unattended and a signature may be required upon delivery.
6. Undeliverable Packages
Occasionally parcels are returned to us as undeliverable. Should this occur, every reasonable effort will be made to contact you to arrange re-delivery. Any additional courier charges incurred will be for your account.
Refund Policy
Your satisfaction matters to us. Below are the details of how we handle refunds, returns and exchanges, including eligibility and the process to follow.
How long do I have to return an item?
You have 28 days from the date of purchase to return an item. Returns must be accompanied by a valid reason and, where applicable, items should be in original, undamaged packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning items to our warehouse. We recommend retaining proof of postage.

Can I have an exchange instead of a refund?
Yes, exchanges may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional delivery charges will apply unless the item is faulty. Please contact our sales team on +27 11 640 5236 to discuss your request.
What should I do if I receive an incorrect or faulty item?
If you receive an incorrect or faulty item, please contact us via the contact form within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and details of the issue so we can assist promptly.
How long does it take to process my return?
Returns are typically processed within 7 working days of being received at our warehouse, excluding weekends and public holidays. Once approved, refunds to credit or debit cards usually reflect within 3 to 5 working days, depending on your card issuer. Store credit or gift voucher payments will be credited back to your online account. You will receive email updates when your return is received and when your refund has been processed.
